- Application model
- Single-stage application, due by the deadline below.
This Horizon Europe Cluster 6 topic funds bringing microbiome-based solutions for food systems to market — for example to increase yields or cut fertiliser and pesticide use — rather than new basic research. The scope requires business models for SMEs and start-ups that want to commercialise these solutions, together with technology to produce them reliably at scale. It follows a multi-actor approach with early involvement of researchers, companies and consumers. The budget is €7.0-8.0 million per project, with 2 projects expected, for €15.5 million in total. Projects are expected to start at TRL 5 and reach TRL 7-8 by the end.
