This Horizon Europe Cluster 4 topic funds processing technologies that use recycled, regenerated or bio-based textile fibres at industrial scale — spinning, weaving, dyeing, finishing — together with business models for sharing risk across the supply chain. Between 10% and 25% of the EU contribution must be passed on as financial support to third parties, to bring SMEs into smaller innovation projects. Simply integrating existing technologies is explicitly excluded; the topic requires genuine innovation. The budget is €4.0-6.0 million per project, with 3 projects expected, for €16 million in total. Projects are expected to start at TRL 5 and reach TRL 6-7 by the end.
