- Single-stage application, due by the deadline below.
This Horizon Europe Cluster 4 topic funds advanced manufacturing technologies and machinery — additive manufacturing, hybrid manufacturing, photonics, advanced joining, polymer composites — for key components at risk of being lost by European industry. It aims to raise the share of secondary, recycled or bio-based materials in products, without making material development the project's main focus. Battery production is explicitly excluded from this topic, as it is covered by a separate 2026 topic. The budget is €6.0-8.0 million per project, with 6 projects expected, for €36 million in total. Projects are expected to start at TRL 5 and reach TRL 7 by the end.
